Anex Air-X² is a compact stroller designed for effortless travel. Its folded dimensions allow it to fit into an airplane overhead compartment, making it an ideal solution for active families frequently moving between cities and countries. The construction enables quick one-hand folding, and once folded, the stroller remains self-standing in an upright position, ensuring convenient storage and transport.
Design Challenges
The Air-X² project is an evolution of the first Air-X model, focused on improving ergonomics, functionality, and mobility.
A key upgrade was the redesign of the seat — it is now wider and longer, significantly enhancing the child’s comfort. The backrest angle in the seated position has also been adjusted to a more upright position, providing a more ergonomic and natural posture for the child.
The intuitive backrest adjustment system allows smooth transition from a seated to a fully reclined position using just one hand, thanks to an integrated handle located at the rear of the seat. This solution ensures effortless and comfortable angle adjustment.
The stroller’s construction has been optimized in terms of folded dimensions — Air-X² is even more compact and stands securely upright when folded, making it easier to store in small spaces. Weight optimization was also a crucial part of the product development process, allowing the stroller to remain lightweight while maintaining durability and structural stability.
